نعم أنا أحب السيما تلك الشاشة المضيئة في حجرة مظلمة تحمل لنا حكايات عن بشر وأحداث قد تشبه أحداث عشناها وربما أحداث لم تخطر لنا على بال ولكننا نعيشها على الشاشة ونتأثر بها، نعم أنا أحب السيما وأحترمها حتى لو نظر لها بعض قصار البصر أنها ملاهاة وشغل عوالم وهم مخطئون، نعم أنا بحب السيما وأحترمها حتى لو أفتى من يفتي بأنها حرام لأنها ليست كذلك بل هي قوة سلاح لمن يعرف كيف يستخدمها، نعم أنا بحب السيما لأني مصرية تدرك أن قوة مصر الناعمة وعلى رأسها السيما هي التي أبقت اسم مصر قائمًا حتى في زمن الهزائم. أنا أدرك أني أحب السيما أما أنت فإن كنت تدرك أو لا تدرك فعليك أن تفكر في كل الأفلام التي شاهدتها على مدى السنين الماضية لتدرك أن جيدها ورديئها ما هو إلا صورة من الجميل والقبيح في حياتنا.
