ماذا يحدث لو اجتمع الأنبياء والفلاسفة والمتصوفة في صعيد واحد وتحدث كل منهم عن الطريق الذي سلكه للوصول إلى الله - عز وجل - أو الأسلوب الذي اتخذه ليهديه إلى الله، أو الرؤية والنظرة التي أرشدته إلى الله؟ ورب معترض يعترض ويقول: وما شأن العلماء والفلاسفة والمتصوفة بهذا الأمر الجليل، حسبنا الأنبياء - وهم أشرف وأطهر وأصدق خلق الله - وما أيدهم الله به من وحي أوصلهم وهداهم وأرشدهم إلى الله، وهم - أيضاً معصومون من كل خطأ أو ذلل، بينما العلماء والفلاسفة والمتصوفة معرضون ولا شك - لكل خطأ وذلل؟ ولكن غاب عن هذا المعترض الأريب أن الأنبياء أنفسهم لم يهدهم الله بالوحي إلا بعد جهد وجهاد وأنهم سلكوا سبلاً وطرقاً ودروباً كثيرة، وخير مثال لذلك أبو الأنبياء إبراهيم - عليه السلام - وهو يبحث عن الله.
فالله موجود ولكن الإحساس بهذا الوجود لا يملأ كياننا، ولا يشغل عقولنا، ولا يعمر قلوبنا، فإذا بحثنا عن الله، فنحن بالأحرى نبحث عن هذا الإحساس، نبحث عن كيفية أن يملأ كياننا، ويشغل عقولنا، ويعمر قلوبنا، إحساس لا يعدله إحساس حينما تشعر أنك وجدت الله، وأنك قريب قريب جداً من الله، تخلع كل الهموم وكل الآلآم، وكل الأحزان، لا شئ، لا شئ سوى الله، وأنت مع الله.. مع خالق الكون، ومبدع الوجود، وإن لم نستطع فعل ذلك، فليس أقل من ان نسير وراء الباحثين عن الله علنا نصل - بعد ذلك - إلى ما وصلوا إليه، وإن لم نستطع فيكفي أننا قمنا بأشرف وأسمى وأنبل محاولة قام بها الإنسان، وهي محاولة الوصول إلى الله.
