لا أستطيع أن أكتم التعبير عن سعادتي. بأن العالم قد أصبح يرى أخيراً الأعمال الكاملة للكاتب الكبير الراحل رمسيس لبيب، وأعتقد أن هذا كان سيسعده جدا، فقد كان أحد أحلامه التي كان يتمني أن تتحقق جزءاً من حلمه الكبير بانتصار الاشتراكية: إنسانية الانسان وحريته وكرامته. كانت الكتابة فعلا دائما لرمسيس منذ يفاعته، تنوعت أنماط الكتابة بين الأدبي والسياسي أو الفكري. غير أنه لم شنر سوي ما رضي عن تكامل وربما ما أتاحته الظروف المضطربة طوال حياته أو من حوله أنه هو شخصيا هلك شامخا كالطود في مواجهة هذه الظروف وحافظ علي نمط حياة مستقر مع أسرته وكتابته ونضاله، مما أنتج رواياته وقصصه التي نشرها، ونعيد نشرها هنا مجمعة.
بعد وفاة رمسيس اكتشفت أسرته العديد من الكتابات التى لم تنشر ودفعت بها إلى فوجدت فيها كنوزا تتحقق فيها قيم جمالية وإنسانية مهمة، ربما لم تتح الظروف نشرها أو ربما لم يعطها رمسيس الأولوية في النشر (في غزارة إنتاجية وقحط وسائل النشر المتاحة) فقد كانت أولوياته دائماً في كل عناصر حياته مرتبطة بمشروعه النضالى.
