والإجابة عن تلك التساؤلات هي هدف هذا البحث. وللوصول إلى هذا الهدف ينقسم هذا البحث إلى: مبحث تمهيدي يتناول ماهية أسواق تداول الأوراق المالية، وأنواعها، وموقعها من الأسواق المالية عمومًا، والوظائف التي تقوم بها في الاقتصاد القومي. باب أول يتناول النظم القانونية للتداول، ومبادئ وأهمية الرقابة على هذا النشاط، والهيئات المنوط بها القيام بالرقابة. باب ثاني يتناول النشاط الرقابي على المؤسسات التي تتكامل أدوارها لإتمام عمليات التداول، ثم الرقابة على عمليات التداول ذاتها للتأكد من سلامتها، وخلوها من الغش أو التلاعب أو الاستغلال ثم يتم عرض الاتجاهات الحديثة للرقابة. وإثراء للبحث، يتم تناول تلك الموضوعات على أساس الدراسة المقارنة بين النظام المصري والنظام الأمريكي باعتباره من أكثر النظم الرقابية تقدمًا. كام سلفت الإشارة. وعلى أساس ما تقدم يصل البحث إلى نتائجه.
