تستعرض هذه الدراسة بالتفصيل مسألة تورط (حزب الله) في سوريا منذ بداية الصراع حتى يومنا هذا، ويقدم القسم الأول منها للقارئ خلفيةً عن الحزب، ويُبرز القسم الثاني علاقة التنظيم المسلح بسوريا ضمن محور المقاومة، ويتناول القسم الثالث من الدراسة الجوانب المتعلقة بتصعيد حضور الحزب في عام 2013م، ويبحث دوره في العمليات عبر سوريا منذ بداية عام 2013م وصاعداً؛ من القصير والقلمون إلى دمشق وحلب، ثم إلى جنوب سوريا.
وإضافةً إلى ذلك، تستكشف الدراسة بنية وتركيب (حزب الله) في سوريا، وطبيعة إنتشاره من خلال النظر في الفصائل شبه العسكرية التي ساعد الحزب في إنشائها وتدريبها.
ويُختتم القسم الأخير منها بالنظر في نقاط قوة الحزب وضعفه نتيجة مشاركته في سوريا، وأخيراً تتضمن الدراسة مقابلات مع أحد قادة الحزب، وأحد عناصر التدريب فيه، وخبراء منه، إضافة إلى نشطاء مناهضين للتنظيم، ومحللين مؤيدين له اشترطوا عدم الكشف عن هويتهم.
