هذه الرسالة لبحث (العصمة الإمامية) عند الشيعة الإثنى عشرية، دون الشيعة الإسماعيلية، ودون الشيعة الزيدية. هؤلاء الشيعة الإثنا عشرية، الذين حددوا الأئمة فى إثنى عشر، ألبسوهم لباس العصمة، التى لاتكون إلا للأنبياء وألمرسلين.
وقد تكونت الرسالة من ثلاث أبواب:
الباب الأول: ماهية العصمة عند السنة وعند الإثنى عشرية ومناقشة الإثنى عشرية فى عصمتهم الإمامية.
الباب الثانى: أهداف العصمة الإمامية الشيعية الإثنى عشرية. (الأهداف هى بذاتها الآثار).
الباب الثالث: هيمنة العصمة الإمامية على نظرية ولاية الفقية الشيعة وعلى الدستور الإيرانى.
وحيث كانت (العصمة الإمامية) المفروضة على كل من هؤلاء الإثنى عشر، هى إحدى العقائد الشيعية، المبنى على جدارها المذهب الشيعى، وكان هذا المذهب فى حقيقته أجنبيا عن هؤلاء الأئمة، أقحمه عليهم آخرون، بدعوى موالاة آل بيت النبى عليه صلوات الله وسلامة.. فيتوجب علينا البحث عن حقيقة نشأة التشيع، بمعانيه التاريخ والمعاصرة.
