كنت ومن مدة ليست بالقصيرة - وأنا في العقد السابع من العمر - أحرر ما يطرأ في ذهني من أفكار روحية وأمور تمرّ عليّ في مطالعاتي التاريخية، ثم أضعها في ملف خاص أو دفتر خاص، إلى أن تجمّع عندي أكثر من خمسة دفاتر في مواضيع متعددة ومتفرقة، ولكن يجمعها عنوان واحد: مفاهيم إسلامية تاريخية وروحية تحكي مواقف الحق بما هو هو من دون مواربة وإختلاف وبما يحكم به العقل السليم.
وللحقيقة إن مواضيع هذا الكتاب بعضها كتب منذ عشرين سنة أو أكثر، وبعضها الآخر كتب منذ عشر سنوات، وقد كنت أحررها فائدة لي وتذكرة للنفس في خضم مشاكل هذه الحياة الزائلة، وبعض بحوث هذا الكتاب أفكار روحية ترتفع بالإنسان من عالم المادة إلى عالم الروح والبقاء.
