لكن عنوان هذا الكتاب هو "فناء الغرب" ومع أن حربنا الثقافية قد فرقتنا ومخاطر الهجرة الجماعية تهدد ببلقنة أمريكا، فإن مصيبة أكبر وأسرع حصولاً قد أصبحت وشيكة.
إن الغرب يحتضر فشعوبه قد توقفت عن الإنجاب وجماهيره توقفت عن النمو وبدأت تتناقض ومنذ ان حصد الطاعون ثلث سكان أوروبا في القرن الرابع عشر لم يأت عليها خطر أعظم من هذا على بقاء وإستمرار الحضارة الغربية، هناك اليوم سبع عشرة بلداً أوروبياً وهناك وفيات اكثر من الولادات وهناك توابيت أكثر من أسرة الأطفال.
البلدان هي بلجيكا، بلغاريا، كرواتيا، جمهورية التشيك، الدانمراك، استونيا، ألمانيا، هنغاريا، إيطاليا، لاتفيا، ليتوانيا، البرتغال، رومانيا، سلوفاكيا، سلوفينيا، إسبانيا، وروسيا، وهناك الكاثوليك والبروتستانت، والأرثوذكس – كل الطوائف المسيحية ممثلة في مسيرة الموت الكبيرة للغرب.
