فقد جَرَتْ عادات أهل العلم قديماً وحديثاً على تيسير العلوم بنظمها نظماً يجمع قواعد العلم المنظوم فيه، ويسهل للحفظ، كما قال السفاريني رحمه الله: "وصَار من عَادَة أهل الْعلم... أن يعتنوا في سبرِ ذَا بالنظم"... "لِأنَّهُ يسهل للْحِفْظ كَمَا... يروق للسمع ويشفي من ظما"...
وقد ذكرنا في مقدمة منظومة القواعد الفقهية: "وصار من عادات أهلِ العلم... أن بَسَّطُوا العلمَ بحبكِ النظمِ".
ولقد كان "النظم الحبير في علوم القرآن وأصول التفسير" للشيخ الدكتور سعود بن إبراهيم الشريم، نظماً رائقاً يسيراً، جَمَعَ فيه ناظمُه قواعد هذا العلم، وأسُسَهُ، ثم شَرَحَ هذا النظم لطلاب العلم في دورة علمية فأزال ما أُبْهِمَ من هذا النظم، وأوضح ما يحتاج إلى توضيح منه، فتمت الفائدة وعظم النفع.
وقد استعنَّا بالله على إخراج هذا النظم وشرحه في كتاب؛ لينتفع به طلاب علوم القرآن الكريم والتفسير، فقمنا بعمل الآتي: 1-تفريغ الشرح ثم مطابقته على المادة الصوتية وتهذيبه، 2-تخريج الأحاديث والآثار، وعزو النقول إلى مصادرها في الحواشي، 3-تخريج الآيات القرآنية، وتحويلها إلى الرسم العثماني، 4-تنسيق الملف تنسيقاً كاملاً، وكتابة الأبيات التي تخص كل باب في أول الباب، مرقمة بالترقيم المسلسل، من أول النظم إلى آخره، 5-عمل فهرس للمراجع في نهاية الكتاب، 6-عمل فهرس لمحتويات الكتاب في آخره.
