الشاطبية والدرة والطيبة هي أساس القراءات اليوم ومجموع أبياتها ألفان وأربعمائة وثلاثة عشر بيتًا هذا بخلاف أبيات التجويد التي يبدأ بها الطالب وأبيات التحريرات على الشاطبية والطيبة فينتهي واقع الحال بكثير من الحافظين لهذه المتون والأبيات الكثيرة إلى نسيان الشاطبية والدرة وتعاهد الطيبة باعتبارها جامعة شاملة لهما وزيادة، أو نسيان الطيبة والاكتفاء بالشاطبية والدرة لأنهما أثبت عند حفظتهما من الطيبة.
ولعل هذا الذي عرضنا له هو الذي دفع بعض أفاضل القراء من الأئمة إلى نظم ما زادته الطيبة على الشاطبية والدرة في أبيات يسيرة من حفظها مع الشاطبية والدرة فكأنما حفظ الطيبة معهما، فيكون بناء على بناء، يوجب لمؤلفه المدح والثناء. ومن أشهر هؤلاء الإمام محمد بن محمد هلالي الإبياري بنظمه اللطيف المسمى بمنحة مولي البر فيما زاده كتاب النشر على الشاطبية والدرة وجملة أبياته أربع وأربعون ومائة بيت فقط.
وقد شرح الله "عز وجل" صدري لشرح هذا المتن شرحًا لطيفًا ليس بالطويل الممل ولا بالقصير المخل.
