إبراهيم زيدان: أديب لبناني، شقيق المؤرخ والأديب وعالم اللغويات الشهير جرجي زيدان، وُلد إبراهيم حبيب زيدان عام ١٨٧٩م ببيروت ونشأ بها، ثم لحق أخاه إلى القاهرة.
وقد نشر كتبًا مدرسية باسمه، ومن أشهر أعماله المستظرفات من النوادر؛ ﻛ «نوادر الكرام» و«نوادر العشاق» و«النوادر المطربة».
وتوفي إبراهيم زيدان بالقاهرة عام ١٩٥٦م.

لما رأيت الإقبال عظيماً على كتابي "نوادر الكرام في الجاهلية والإسلام" و"نوادر العشاق" المطبوعين حديثاً آثرت أن ألحقهما بثالث يكون منهما مكان الروح من الجسد فنشرت هذا الكتاب "نوادر الأدباء" وجمعت فيه ما راق وطاب من نوادر الملوك والخلفاء والفلاسفة والعظماء والوزراء والخطباء والزاهدين والأذكياء وغيرهم, راجياً أن يصادف قبولاً من القراء وارتياحاً في نفوس الأدباء, لا زالوا ملجأ للعلم والأدب في هذا العصر الزاهر.
وقد جاءت أقسام الكتاب كالتالي: القسم الأول: في نوادر الملوك والخلفاء, القسم الثاني: في نوادر الفلاسفة, القسم الثالث: في نوادر العظماء "من الوزراء والخطباء وغيرهم", القسم الرابع: في نوادر الأذكياء, القسم الخامس: في نوادر الزاهدين.
