كثرت في الآونة الأخيرة بدع المبتدعين، وشاعت أباطيل المبطلين وهدفهم تشويه حقائق الدين الإسلامي، وبناءً على هذا وضع المؤلف "القزويني" هذا الكتاب فيه آيات بينات لمن أراد أن يهتدي ويتبع سبيل المؤمنين، وإن كل ما ورد فيه من مسائل، فهي مستقاة من كتاب الله سبحانه، وروايات الأئمة عليهم السلام، المؤيدة والمؤكدة للآيات القرآنية، مع الاعتماد على ما ذهب إليه أساطين علماء الشيعة في المسائل المطروحة، والتي تعبر عن معتقد الشيعة ورأيهم في ذلك، سواء منها ما يتعلق بالعلو والتفويض، أم في الخلق والرزق، أم في العلم بالغيب، أم الحقيقة المحمدية. هذا وقد حرص المؤلف على توضيح الأفكار المطروحة من الدين والعقيدة استناداً إلى أقوال جملة من العلماء الأعلام، كالشيخ المفيد، والشيخ الكراجكي وغير هؤلاء من أعلام ومفكري الشيعة.
كثيراً ما يُتَّهم الشيعة الإمامية بالغلو والتطرف في موقفهم من أهل بيت الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم، وللأسف يعمِّم البعض عن جهل أو قصد بعض العقائد المتطرفة والمنحرفة عن مذهب أهل البيت عليه السلام ويلصقها بهم مشوّهاً عقيدتهم ومرتباً عليها وضع سدٍ بين تقارب المسلمين في زمن نحن أحوج ما نكون فيه للإعتصام، عملاً بقوله تعالى: (واعتصموا بحبل الله جميعاً ولا تفرقوا).
وهذا الكتاب عرض علمي لموقف أئمة الشيعة من مسائل غالباً ما كانت باباً للطعن في عقائدهم.
