إن كان فؤاد زكواني معلقاً بزوينة في «تانجا»، فإن الحمار والرمان معا مغروسان في صدره كعريشتين من العنب تتوزع منهما أغصان، وعناقيد، وفيض وتراتيل ، زوينة تتبرعم في قلبه وتنمو شجرة وارفة من الزعفران والأحاديث، ربما ما كان يتمناه زكواني أو ما يود أن يتمناه، بل هو بالفعل ما يتمناه، الصورة الآتية: غيمة صافية خالية من البارود، قدر قديم يشبه ذلك القدر الذي قيض له زوينة بلونها الطيني المعتق بلون الورس ورائحتها الزهرية تتأرجح على سنام الناقة بين وسائد الهودج، وحماريتسامع به العربان، حمار من سلالة وقبيلة وفصيل نادر، وغرة جبلية صافية يحمل أكياسا لا تنضب من الرمان المحتقن بالرزق والماء،.....وسنيناً لا تنتهي من الأقاصيص والعبر والضحكات.
