يتكون هذا الكتاب من خمسة فصول، ففي الفصل الأول نناقش ونوضح النقاط التي يجب أن تؤخذ بعين الإعتبار أثناء مرحلة التصميم، وفي الفصل الثاني نناقش أهم الشروط التي يجب إتباعها عند اختيار المقاول المنفذ للمبنى، بينما يحتوي الفصل الثالث على الخطوات التفصيلية لمراحل البناء الإنشائي وتشطيبات الأعمال المدنية، ويشمل الفصل الرابع على شرح للأعمال الميكانيكية في المباني من التكييف وتمديدات التغذية والصرف الصحي بالإضافة إلى المصاعد، ويتناول الفصل الخامس شرح التمديدات الكهربائية وتمديدات الضغط المنخفض والنقاط التي يجب مراعاتها أثناء تنفيذها، وختاما في الفصل السادس بإضافة نماذج للعقود المستخدمة بين المالك ومقاوليه.
