ولد يحيى عايد موسى القيسي في حرثا/اربد عام 1963، وحصل على بكالوريوس أدب إنجليزي من جامعة فيلادلفيا عام 1999، وعلى دبوم عالي في الهندسة الميكانيكية من معهد البوليتكنيك في عمان عام 1984، ودرس اللغات الحية في تونس خلال الأعوام 1992-1994، وعمل مديراً لتحرير مجلة فنون، وصوت الجيل، وعضو هيئة تحرير مجلة أفكار، الصادرة عن وزارة الثقافة، ويعمل منذ عام 1990 صحفياً ومراسلاً ثقافياً للعديد من المجلات والصحف العربية، ومنذ عام 1999 وهو يعمل معدا ًلبرامج تلفزيونية (ثقافية ووثائقية).
وهو عضو رابطة الكتاب الأردنيين، وكان نائباً لرئيس ملتقى اربد الثقافي عام 1995.
كما تولى إدارة "مديرية الدراسات والنشر" في وزارة الثقافة خلال العام 2002.

أعماله التلفزيونية: البتراء مدينة الحلم والدهشة (برنامج وثائقي) التلفزيون الأردني، 1999.
حلوة يا بلدي (شهرة تلفزيونية سياحية) التلفزيون الأردني، 2000.
(فازت بالجائزة الأولى في مهرجان إذاعات الدول العربية في تونس).
سيرة مبدع (ثقافي توثيقي لعشرين شخصية فكرية وأدبية وفنية من الأردن تألف من عشرين حلقة) أنتجته اللجنة الوطنية العليا لإعلان عمان عاصمة للثقافة العربية بالتعاون مع التلفزيون الأردني عام 2002.

قيل لي إنّ معظم ما وصل إلينا من التاريخ قد جرى عليه التغيير، وتدّخلت في كتابته أيادي الغزاة والمنتصرين والمزوّرين، أمّا ما حُفظ منه فجرى تحت إشراف السلاطين، إذ كانوا يعلون من يشاؤون علواً، ويطمسون أخبار غيرهم طمساً بعد أن يرفعوا من شأن أنفسهم، ويدّعوا أنّهم أهل الطريقة الصحيحة والسنن الصريحة، وأنّ غيرهم من المنحرفين الضالّين والزنادقة الملحدين.
وهكذا، فإنّ البشر لا يعرفون، بعد مضيّ الأزمان، كيف كان هؤلاء الّذين يدّعون الصلاح في كتبهم هم في الحقيقة أقرب إلى أعوان الشياطين والقتلة المجرمين، ويا للخيبة حينما يكتشف المرء أنّ الأبطال الّذين يعيش على ذكراهم، ويقلّد بشغفٍ مسعاهم هم من السفلة المخرّبين...!.
