- الدراسة تعالج مكة المكرمة , المدينة الإسلامية المقدسة الأولى في الإسلام , من حيث الأهمية والمكانة في الإسلام , وفي قلوب المسلمين ؛ وقد خصت بفضائل كثيرة , منها :ذكرها في القرآن الكريم وفي الأحاديث النبوية , مضاعفة الأجر والثواب فيها, فضل الموت والإقامة فيها , مقارنة بغيرها من البلدان الإسلامية , وهي أحب المدن إلى الله تعالى ورسوله , وفيها قبور الصحاب والتابعين .يضاف إلى ذلك, مكانتها التاريخية المهمة في التاريخ الإسلامي والعالمي , ففيها نشأ الإسلام وترعرع , ومنها أنطلق إلى المدينة المنورة , ثم بقية المناطق في الجزيرة العربية , وخارجها , فهي تضم منجزاتهم الحضارية من :المساجد , البيوت , المقامات , الأضرحة , المنشآت المائية .
-أن موضوع الدراسة , وفترته الزمنية , لم تدرس-في حدود علم الباحث-في دراسة علمية مستقلة , وتم تأكيد ذلك بعد البحث في قواعد المعلومات العربية والدولية ؛ وقد أكدت عمليات البحث تلك على أن الموضوع , لم يدرس سابقاً ؛ وبالتالي فإنه يعد بكراً , والحاجة ماسة لدراسته , دراسة علمية .
-استناد الدراسة على الوثائق والمصادر الأولية المتعلقة بالموضوع ,والتي في أغلبها لم يعتمد عليها في دراسات سابقة ؛وبالتالي من شأن ذلك أن يضيف إلى الدراسة معلومات جديدة لم تكن معروفة للباحثين .
