"خبزٌ ونبيذ" وقصائد أخرى للشاعر الألماني "هْلْدِرلن" (1770 - 1843) اختارها وترجمها وقدم لها الشاعر السوري أمارجي بدأها بـ "مطارحة المنادى في ليلِ هولدِرلن وبرقه" العنوان الذي اختاره للدخول في عوالم شاعره الذي أحب فتجهز لمقاربته كما يقول: "بتخليات وترحابات أكبر. والتخليات هنا ليست ضد الإستجماع، إنها إيعاز إليه، إلى تجويف شغف الداخل وتجييشه، إحرازاً للمشرع، وغُتُماً للامتناهي ..." هكذا تتعدد قرارات أمارجي لشعرية صاحبه هولدِرلن" ليرى فيها "ليل تحولاتٍ هائجة ومزيدة وهادرة، مُسرفة في إنشاء الضوء. ليل محارةٌ تشكل في جوفها مصير القصيدة ..." كما يراها تعبيراً عن "الأرض والسماء" ، "البشر والآلهة" ، "الليل والنهار" ، ليست أكثر من مفاهيم ثنائيات متحللة في شغف واحد ...".
من عوالم هولدرلن الشعرية نقرأ مقتطفاً من "خبرٌ ونبيذ" وهي قصيدة بدأ بكتابتها في طريق العام (1800م) ، وأنهاها شقاء العام نفسه، وأهداها إلى هينسه: "المدينة برُمتها تستكين، الرفاق المضاء يهدأ / والعربات مُزدانةٌ بالمشاعل، تخشخشُ على الطريق / الرجال المتخمون بمباهج النهار يخلدون إلى بيوتهم، فيما عقلٌ حاذقٌ يوازن الربح والخسارة في بيته مغتبطاً، / السوق المكتظ وقد أقفر من الزهر والأعقاب، / ومن الأعمال اليدوية، ويتنفس الآن الصعداء / لكنّ رنين كمانٍ يتصادى بعيداً في حدائق قصيّة ؛ / لعله عاشقٌ يعزف هناك (...)".
وكما جاء في المقدمة يضم الكتاب قصائد للشاعر هولدرلن نشرت بين الأعوام 1191- 1846) وقصائد أخرى نشرق في النصف الأول من القرن العشرين، حيث ذيل المترجم تحت كل قصيدة تاريخ نشرها مع الشرح لمناسبة القصيدة والمعاني الغامضة، ومن عناوين القصائد نذكر: "حين كنتُ فتىً" ، "عاشقان" ، "إمبادوقليس" ، "تهليل بشري" ، "آنذاك والآن" ، "إلى ديونيما" ، "الناسُ مفخرة" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
