والمطر يهطل فى الخارج بغزارة، ويتسرب بعضه من سقف الغرفة سائلا على الجدران فى تلكؤ، والعذراء ايزيس لا تزال ترتجف، ولا تحسب ان هذا تعبير شاعرى، بل ارجوك ان تصدق انها كانت حقا ترتجف، واللهب يرتجف، وجميعانا نرتجف..وصديق-الذى يبدو انه لم يمر بهم منذ زمن-يقول:
-سمعت انها انجبت طفلا..
-بل طفلا وطفلا..
-وكان زوحها مريضا..
-والآن صحيح معافى..
-وهل تراها احترقت اشعارها؟
-مثلنا احرقهآ حامد..
-وهل تراها احبت حامدا حقا؟
-بل هو احبها حقا..
-لكنه لم يبح لها بشئ فى غير شعره؟
-مثلما لم تبح له بشئ حتى فى شعرها..
وقال أحدهم يتم شرحه لى:
-فذات صباح اقبلت تخبرنا أنها ستزف عما قريب الى استاذ لها، وتدعونا الى حضور يوم الزفاف..
-ومن يومها سعل حامد وظل يسعل ثلاثة أعوام حتى مات..
