اقتصرت دراستنا لموضوع "الإنهاء بالإرادة المنفردة" على عقد العمل غير محدد المدة دون العقد محدد المدة، وذلك نظراً لأن القاعدة العامة في الإنهاء، أنه لا يرد إلا على العقد غير محدد المدة.. وترجع الأهمية العلمية لدراسة موضوع الإنهاء بالإرادة المنفردة لعلاقات العمل، إلى أهمية معالجة الأحكام القانونية المنطمة لإنهاء علاقة العمل حتى تكون قادرة على المساهمة في الحد من الآثار أو تخفيف حدة هذه الآثار المرتبة على تزايد حالات إنهاء تلك العلاقات، خاصة من جانب أصحاب الأعمال.
وقد حرص الباحث على دراسة موضوع الرسالة دراسة مقارنة بقوانين ثلاث دول عربية وهي:- (السعودية، والإمارات، والكويت) ، وذلك لأن هذه الدول تعد من أكثر الدول العربية استقبالاً للعمالة الأجنبية وخاصة العمالة المصرية، وقد إستخدم الباحث في هذه الدراسة المنهج التحليلي الوصفي المقارن، وقسم البحث إلى ثلاثة أبواب يسبقها فصل تمهيدي وخاتمة على النحو التالي:- الباب الأول: ماهية الإنهاء بالإرادة المنفردة، الباب الثاني: احكام الإنهاء بالإرادة المنفردة، الباب الثالث: صور مبررات الإنهاء وىثاره القانونية.
