في هذا الكتاب قبسات من نور من فكر الإمام الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب ومعاجزه وفضائله، وأخلاقه، وكراماته، وشفاعته عليه السلام.
يبدأ الكتاب مقدمة عن تاريخ أهل البيت عليهم السلام، يلي ذلك فصل خاص بأخبار الإمام الحسين عن معاني أصوات الحيوانات، ثم لمحة من عظمة السيدة الزهراء عليها السلام فضائلها كراماتها ومعجزاتها في بيت أبيها وجملة من أدعيتها في حوائج الدنيا والآخرة، كذلك يتطرق الكتاب إلى بعض القصص التي تبين فضل آل البيت مثل قصتهم مع النبي نوح عليه السلام عندما اكتشف العلماء الروس قطعاً من سفينة نوح عليها أسماء آل البيت، يتبع ذلك حديث الكساء وأقوال سيد الشهداء وقبسات من كلامه عليه السلام لما عزم على الخروج إلى العراق. أما أهم ما يحتويه الكتاب قصص الإمام الحسين في الأخلاق ورأيه في العلم والجهل، والكبر والأدب ... الخ. ولا يخفى على الكاتب تبيان رأيه في العقائد، وأدعيته التي تخترق الحجب ومعاجزه وكراماته وخصوصا في يوم عاشوراء. ثم فضل زيارة سيد الشهداء والتي هي أمان من النار وبها يستجاب الدعاء. أما التربة الحسينية ففيها الشفاء، ثم شفاعته عليه السلام للمؤمنين وأعمال شهر محرم الذي فيه ليلة عاشوراء ويوم عاشوراء كل ذلك سنقرأه بين دفتي هذا الكتاب.
