لا يخلو تاريخ أية حضارة من المبادلات الأدبية والتي تعد نتيجة طبيعية وحتمية لتواصل الحضارات فيما بينها خاصة وأن الحضارة لا تنشأ بمعزل عن سائر الحضارات الأخري.
وعند النظر إلي تاريخ الفكر اليهودي في ظل الخلافة العربية الإسلامية نجد أنه كان لأحتكاك اليهود بالعرب أعظم الأثر في أرتياد الثقافة اليهودية لآفاق معرفية حداثية شديدة التباين عن نتاجها الثقافي التقليدي.
وعند النظر إلي عالم بن ميمون نجد أنه بالرغم من تبوأه لمنصب رئيس الطائفة اليهودية في مصر وأشتغاله بتفسير كثير من النصوص اليهودية المقدسة إلا أن عقليته كانت عقلية عربية إسلامية خالصة حيث إن نتاجه الفلسفي والديني سواء الذي كتبه باللغة العربية أو باللغة العبرية يتطرق إلي قضايا الذات والصفات الألهية, وخلق الكون والإنسان, والنفس البشرية والجبر والأختيار, والبعث والخلود والسعادة الإنسانية, تلك القضايا التي كانت تمثل في مجملها محاور الفلسفة العربية الإسلامية.
ويعد كتاب موسي بن ميمون لمؤلفته "تامار رودافسكي" محاولة لإظهار فضل الثقافة العربية الإسلامية علي فلسفة وفكر موسي بن ميمون, فلا يخلو فصل من فصول هذا العمل من الإشارة إلي أن فلسفته تعد تلخيصاً أميناً ودقيقاً لما أنتجه العقل العربي في العصور الوسطي.
