يضم هذا الكتاب محاولة لتسجيل بعض الأحداث والذكريات والخواطر والإنطباعات والإستخلاصات من رحلة على متن أسطول الحرية المظفر، والذي انطلق هذه المرة من الشمال إلى الجنوب، ليرد التحية على الفاتحين الأوائل الذين أوصلوا النور والخير لأطراف أوروبا، ليقلّ هذا الأسطول ثلّة من الأخيار الذين عشقوا الحرية، وكرهوا الظلم، وصمموا على كسر الحصار عن شعب مصابرٍ شريفٍ في غزة، كاد العالم أن ينساه.
ربما لم يحدث، وبهذه الصورة، وعلى مدى ستة عقود من الإحتلال الصهيوني، أن تصدرت قضية متعلقة بفلسطين، الإهتمامات العالمية، وكانت الخبر الأول على مدى أسابيع، بل وبقي الموضوع حاضراً بعد أشهرٍ عديدة، كمثل هذه الحالة بعد رحلة أسطول الحرية (1) والعدوان الصهيوني عليها.
لقد كان صمود أهل غزة تحت النار والحصار، والتهميش والخذلان من العرب لما يزيد عن ألف يوم، ولدماء الأتراك الطاهرة التي سفكت في الطريق إلى غزة، وتضحيات العديد من الأحرار، من أكثر من أربعين جنسية في العالم، وللصلف الصهيوني المستمر الذي لم يعد يسهل تسويغ جرائمه.
لعلّ هذه كلها وقبلها إرادة الله سبحانه وتعالى، كان هذا الزخم من التعاطي السياسي والإعلامي بشأن القضية الفلسطينية، والحصار على غزة.
ومن هنا، آثر الشيخ سالم الفلاحات أن يوثق هذه التجربة وهو أحد المشاركين الذين يملكون حساً يقظاً وضميراً شفافاً ومروءة فائضة وخلقاً نبيلاً، وإيماناً صادقاً وحساً مرهفاً، يستطيع من خلاله تسجيل صورة معبرة وصادقة عمّا جرى في هذه الرحلة الميمونة، لتكون تجربة موثقة للأجيال لأخذ الدروس والعبر، ومن أجل البناء على هذه التجربة لتحقق تجربة أخرى أكثر نجاحاً وتوفيقاً.
