سيادة الرئيس معذرة إذا تجاسرت وسألت: لماذا تسقطون الرئيس محمد نجيب من سجل الخالدين؟ لماذا تتحاشون ذكره مصرين على تجاهله؟! لم يجئ اسم البطل العظيم مرة على لسانكم ألم يكن القائد الجسور الذى تحمل مخاطر قيادة الثورة لحفنة من الضباط الشباب؟! استظل بشجاعته عبد الناصر ورفاقه وبعد عامين من قيادته ورئاسته للجمهورية وما الدوافع التى جعلت عبد الناصر ورفاقه يصرون على إقصاء محمد نجيب عن الساحة رغم سيل المظاهرات والإجماع الجماهيرى فى مصر والسودان على إعادته إلى السلطة بعد إقصائه أول مرة، تجيبنا قرارات مارس 1954 أصر فيها نجيب على إعادة الأحزاب وأن تكون الديمقراطية أسلوباً ونهجاً ودستوراً لحكم البلاد وحاصروه ونسفوا كل جسر للحوار، سعىى نجيب لإقامته مع حزب الوفد حزب الأغلبية الشعبية وبعدها شأن كل ديكتاتور تخلص عبد الناصر من رفاقه واحداً تلو الآخر ومن رحمة الله بنا أن استبقى السادات ليخلصنا من عار يونيو1967 لقد دفع محمد نجيب الثمن غالياً فظل فى الاعتقال قرابة عشرين عاماً تشردت فيها أسرته ولقى خلالها العسف والعذاب والهوان، ولسوف ينصفه التاريخ إن آجلاً أو عاجلاً مهما سوفنا نحن فى إقرار هذه الحقيقة التاريخية ورحل الرجل وأمعن فى التنكر لكل ماقدمه لمصر فبينما نجد السودان الشقيق قد بادر بإطلاق اسمه على أكبر شوارع الخرطوم، إذ فى مصر لم يخط اسم محمد نجيب قائد ثورة يوليو وأول رئيس لجمهوريتها أن يطلق على أحد الميادين أو شارع أو زقاق أو حتى مدق! يالوفاء مصر لأبطالها!!
