تجول الكتاب في منطقة جديدة تحت لواء الكتابة السردية، من خلال روايتين قصيرتين ونصين سرديين، وهما: «وثيقة تأمين» و«تطلع»، والكتاب لا يمكن تصنيفه تحت بند أدبي معين، حيث لا يتشابه مع الأشكال الأدبية المتعارف عليها، برغم ذلك هو يحمل سمات وخصائص الروايات فيما عدا خاصية الطول، ويأخذ من القصة القصيرة خاصية التكثيف، كذلك تهتم الكتابة ضمنه بالمحافظة على خيط درامي واحد، والتركيز على بؤرة الحدث منذ البداية مقللة من زخم الشخصيات. ويحاول الكاتب في الموضوعة الرئيسة، رصد جملة تجارب وحكايات مجتمعية، بصيغة جاذبة، مسلطا الضوء على الكثير من القضايا التي تدور في الواقع، ولكنه يتطرق الى ذلك بأسلوب خاص جديد. ويعتمد الكاتب في توجهه هذا، على توظيف نوع من الغرائبية، كما يستعين بلغة سهلة وسلسة، تؤدي وظيفة ربط خيوط السرد بسهولة.
