أبدع الباحث المقتدر "عبد العالي معزوز" الذي انفتح باكراً أي منذ بحوثه الجامعية الأولى على مجال الجماليات - وكان الأمر يتعلّق بالإستجابة لميول دفينة وعميقة في تتبُع مفاصل البعد الفكري الشمولي المؤطرّ لفكر أدورنو وكذا التلافيف الفكرية الدقيقة لجماليات أدورنو السلبية أو الإحتجاجية، ولم يغفل الحدس الأساسي المتمثّل أن هذا الفكر بِوَجْهَيْهِ الفلسفي والجمالي يندرج في سياق مراجعة الحداثة الغربية لذاتها ونقدها لذاتها ولأسسها الأنوارية، وفي سياق إنعراجاتها وإنزلاقاتها نحو العنف الداخلي والخارجي.
كما لم يغفل السياقات الخاصة التي دفعت قسماً من النخبة المثقفة الجرمانية إلى ممارسة نقد حاد تجاه مفهوم الواقع الكامن وراءها، وإن جنحت في كثير من الأحيان إلى تجريد القوى الفاعلة من حيثياتها الإجتماعية لمؤسسات وقوى وتجمُّعات المصالح المالية والعسكرية والصناعية وتحويلها إلى فواعل مجردة أهمها العقل الأداتي الذي أصبح عند كثيرين منهم مطابقاً للعقل ذاته الذي أهمها العقل الأداتي الذي أصبح عند كثيرين منهم مطابقاً للعقل ذاته الذي هو في الأصل طاقة تحريرية بالدرجة الأولى.
إن هذا العمل الأكاديمي المتميّز يفتح أبواب الحقل الفلسفي المغربي على قسم من الفلسفة لم نوله حقه من الإهتمام، ولم ننتج فيه كثيراً، وهو فلسفة الجمال، ولعل هذه البذرة الأولى ستكون نواة لإنتاجات أخرى في هذا المجال.
