تشكل المسألة الأيديولوجية إشكالية جوهرية في العلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية جميعها ، وهي مسألة تحيل على كثير من التساؤلات وتثير العديد من التناقضات فيما يتعلق بالممارسة العلمية النزيهة وبالموضوعية التي كثيرا ما تغنت بها هذه العلوم ، من أجل هذا سنحاول في كم قليل من الألفاظ وفي بعض الأفكار التي تحملها هذه الألفاظ أن نثير مسألة الأيديولوجيا في العلوم الاجتماعية عامة وحضورها اللافت في أحد أهم هذه العلوم ألا وهو علم الإنسان الذي لفته إيديولوجيا الاستعمار ومصلحته منذ البداية ، أي منذ نشأتها المتزامنة مع المد الاستعماري للشعوب الواقعة وراء البحر ، وفي هذا سنحاول تسليط الضوء على أنثروبولوجيا بل إيديولوجيا الاستعمار في المجتمع الجزائري ، طالما أن الفارق بين أنثروبولوجيا الاستعمار وأيديولوجيا الاستعمار غير واضح بالمرة ، وسيكون ذلك بمحاولة بيان صورة المجتمع الجزائري في الممارسة الأنثروبولوجية الاستعمارية ، وحقيقة المعارف والتصورات المقدمة حول الفرد والمجتمع الجزائري والغاية الحقيقية من الصورة النمطية التي أنتجت وطورت حوله
