وكان الفهم والإدراك الواعي لتلك الأسس والمبادئ نقطة التحول التي أسهمت في ذلك التراث العلمي الذي أضحت بصماته واضحة على الحضارة الإنسانية، لا غرو فالقرآن الكريم آخر رسالة من السماء إلى الأرض، فمتى وكيف كانت بداية ذلك النشاط العلمي؟ وما خصائص نتاجه الفكري؟ وما أثر ذلك على اتجاتهات سلوك الباحثين المعاصرين؟ ذلك هو مضمون هذا الكتاب الذي شمل بالدراسة والبحث والتحليل السرد التاريخي والدراسة التطبيقية على بعض الرسائل والأطروحات الجامعية بكلية الشريعة بجامعة إفريقيا العالمية بالسودان، والتي ختمت ببعض التنائج وأتبعتها ببعض التوصيات، حيث قدمت هذه الدراسة لجامعة النيلين بالسودان لاستيفاء، متطلبات درجة الماجستير في المكتبات والمعلومات.
