لقد كان حل مجلس الشعب بحكم تعسفي بمثابة استخفاف للمواطنين المصريين الذين خرج منهم 31 مليون ناخب مصري بعزيمة قوية جدًا للإدلاء بأصواتهم واختيار من يمثلهم تمثيلًا حقيقيًا في أول انتخابات برلمانية نزيهة في تاريخ مصر الحديث والقديم حيث بلغت نسبة التصويت اكثر من 60%، وبلغت نسبة الاصوات التي حصل عليها اعضاء مجلس الشعب 97.2% وهي اعلى نسبة في العالم بل في التاريخ، كما يمثل تبديدًا للمال العام هباءًا تكلفة نفقات انتخاب مجلس الشعب التي بلغت حوالي 2 مليار جنية مصري، ثم يقال بعد ذلك يجب احترام القانون، فإذا كان القانون الذي يحكم به القضاء المصري لا يمنع شرب الخمر، والشرع يحرم شرب الخمر، فأيهما أولى بالاتباع، وإذا كان مجلس الشعب مخخالف للدستور والله يقول في محكم كتابه (فإذا عزمت فتوكل على الله) فأيهما اولى بالاتباع؟!
إن الشرع فوق القانون والقرآن فوق الدستور، والسبب الحقيقي الغير معلن لحل مجلس الشعب ولا يخفي عن الجميع هو انزعاج التيارات المضادة من اكتساح التيار الاسلامي للبرلمان، لقد كانت النية مبيتة لحل مجلس الشعب والدليل على ذلك مقولة رئيس الوزراء الجنزوري لرئيس مجلس الشعب الكتاتني "قرار مجلس الشعب في درج المحكمة الدستورية".
