شهد هذا العصر صحوة إسلامية عظيمة شملت جميع فئات المجتمع, ومن مظاهر هذه الصحوة التزام الفتيات بارتداء الحجاب الشرعي وإقبال الشباب من الجنسين على اقتناء الكتب الدينية وكان من مظاهر هذه الصحوة أيضا إقبال الشباب على الالتحاق بدور تحفيظ القرآن الكريم التى لم يكن لها وجود على الإطلاق فى الحقبة السابقة ولكنها الآن تتزايد يوما بعد يوم
وقد رأيت من واجبي تأليف كتاب لتيسير حفظ القرآن الكريم بدءا بسورتى البقرة وآل عمران وأسميته "بغية المجتهد فى حفظ الزهراوين" ووضعت الآيات فى مجموعات حسب محل الاعتبار من التشابه فهناك آيات تتفق بداياتها أو خواتيمها كما أن هناك آيات متشابهة فى الألفاظ, وهذا يساعد المجتهد فى الحفظ على سرعة الاستيعاب والوقوف على مواضع الاختلاف فى الآيات المتشابهة أو التى تتفق فواتيحها, وينمى لديه ملكة استحضار الآيات, كما وضعت فى بداية الكتاب جدول للمتابعة وتسجيل تاريخ الحفظ, وفى آخر الكتاب تم وضع فهرس بأسماء الإعلام والأماكن ومحل ورودها فى القرآن الكريم.
