ووصف طارق رمضان، أستاذ الدراسات الإسلامية المعاصرة بجامعة أكسفورد، هذا الكتاب بالغ الأهمية بأنه كتاب جوهرى وجاء فى حينه. وأضاف قائلاً إن الكتاب يتناول إرهاب الإسلام تناولاً كلياً ومتعمقاً جدياً. وسيفهم من يقرأ الكتاب السبب الذى يحتم علينا أن نكف عن سذاجتنا وعن عدم إبصارنا للحقيقه. فلن يكون هناك مستقبل يرفرف عليه السلام والعدل فى مجتمعاتنا الديمقراطية إذا لم تكافح هذا النمط الجديد من العنصرية الخطيرة.
