عندما تعجز اللغة عن قول المشاعر الكامنة والـ "كلمات تحاول الهرب"، فمن أقدر من الشاعر ماجد بن سنوي على الإمساك بناصيتها وإدخالها إلى قلوبنا بفرح وسلام، فنشعر وكأننا نعيش معها حياة أخرى، ما بين حضور وغياب، شعورين مختلفين، يوقظان الأحساس فينا، فنفهم ذواتنا أكثر. هذا ما حاول التعبير عنه شاعرنا، فالشعر هو في النهاية القدرة على استيعاب خصوصياتنا بشكل آخر، والشاعر في كلماته يمنح كائناته اللغوية المزيد من دفء الكتابة، ويستعير للغة إمكانات جديدة للتأويل، ففي بعض قصائده مقام صلوات وابتهالات يدعوها إلى التوحد، وفي بعضها الآخر قصائد حب وشوق وحنين، وذكريات مجللة بالعاطفة الصادقة، إنّه عالم الشاعر ماجد بن سنوي؛ فإذا قررت الاقتراب منه، فعليك الخضوع لطقوسه إلى اللانهاية... يقول الشاعر في "كلماتٌ تحاولُ الهرب": الشمسُ من ذهب والقمرُ من فضة/ والسماءُ تهبُ كل الأشياءِ الزُرقة/ كذلك الدماء لا لونَ لها ولا زُمرة/ بل هي بكل ألوانِ الورد والزهرة/ والحبر بامتداد محيط المجهول/ وبلون السماء.. وعذوبة الماء../ والرصاصُ قد يكونُ قلماً/ وقد يكونُ سواداً وألماً/ هي.. كلماتٌ تحاولُ الهرب../ منذُ سنينَ عديدة/ تسلّلَ بعضُها من صدري/ وتفلّتَ الآخرُ من لساني/ وقبضتُ بالقلمِ على البعض/ وأودعته خلف هذه السطور.. بين يديك". يضم الكتاب نصوص نثرية وخواطر وقصائد جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "لا إله الا الله"، "الألم الأبيض"، "عندما تصبحُ عيناكِ كعينيّ حبّاً"، "المرأة الكائن المقدس"، "الطريق الصحيح"، "عنكِ إليكِ"، "أصحاب الكهف"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
