Book Description
This book gives an account of the life and struggles of bassam shak' a against a background of events in palestine which led to the colonisation of the contry by foreign settlers. The story of bassam shak' a and jes fight for justice is also the tragic tale of the people of palestine who are either living in exile after having been brutally expelled from their contry, are seconde-class citizens in their own homeland or are existing under an illegal, alien and barbaric occupation.
Nevertheless, bassam shak' a is an optimist who is determined, in spite of the injuries he has sustained, to continue serving his people in the belief that one day justice will prevail for the people of palestine that there will be an end to their terrible suffering and that they will achieve the self-determination for which they have fought so hard.
