ان تعاليم يسوع وعقيدته وايمانه الشخصي لم تكن أبداً عقيدة التثليث التي استحدثت فيما بعد.. لقد بدأت عقدية التوحيد مبكرة جداً.. وفي حقيقة الأمر فإنها تسبق عقيدة التثليث بعشرات السنين، هذا ما قرره علماء المسيحية وأساتذة العقيدة في جامعات الغرب، وهم أيضاً يقولون "ليس لدينا أية معرفة بالكيفية التي تشكلت بموجبها قانونية الأناجيل الأربعة ولا بالمكان الذي تقرر فيه ذلك"، وهذا الكتاب "المسيح في مصادر العقائد المسيحية" الذي استغرق البحث فيه أكثر من 20 عاماً يعرض "مصادر العقائد المسيحية" والصورة وقصة الأناجيل الذي يلقى الأضواء على "مشاكل رئيسية في الأناجيل"، وفي قضية الصلب يعرض الروايات المختلفة للأناجيل عن أحداثها، وعن هلاك يهوذا، ثم "تنبؤات المسيح - والمزامير - بنجاته من القتل" وما حدث من "اختلاف المسيحيين الأوائل في صلب المسيح"، ثم يتبع ذلك ببحث "قضية القيامة والظهور"، وأخيراً يصل إلى جوهر الحقيقة، وكل هذا مدعماً بالنصوص والأسانيد.
