همسات دافئة، وحنين لا ينضب، يطلقها سعود عبد الكريم الفرج في هذا الديوان الشعري المليء بألوان الحياة، وفيه ينتقل الشاعر بعوالمه إلى التعبير عن حبه للوطن والأهل والمرأة والأصدقاء ويجمع بينهم شعرياً.
في القصيدة المعنونة "الأوجام بلد الذكريات الجميلة" وهي قصيدة تعود ذكرياتها إلى أيام الصبا التي قضاها الشاعر في البلدة الوادعة بين أشجار النخيل قبل خمسين سنة كان يتردد عليها برفقة جده لأمه "وناجيتُ من بعدٍ وهل تنفعُ النجوى / عهوداً ترى من بعدهم بالجفا نضوى / تذكرت في الأوجام صحباً ومربعاً / وعين الندى تجري على سمعهم نشوى / لهوت ىبها والزهر يرسل عطره / وطير الرُّبا من سحرها قد شدا شدواً / سلام على الأحباب من آل حميرٍ / بهم كانت الأيام تزهو بنا زهواً / فمنهم حفيد المجد من آل ناصر / وجدت القِرا من داره إذ غدت مأوى (...)".
بهذا البوح الجميل، وبهذا الإنسياب للحرف، نقرأ جغرافيا للحب لا تحده حدود، وقد جعل منه محور الحياة، بأفراحها وأتراحها، هكذا يرتبط الصوت بالنوستالجيا لدى سعود عبد الكريم الفرج ويحيل إلى فلسفة مثالية، تغني المعنى في الشعر، وترفد المخيلة بأدوات يصبح الوجود فيها كينونة متوقدة بالحب، والعاطفة، والتسامح، والجمال.
من عناوين القصائد نذكر: سأبقى، كل النساء، البتراء، منك أتاني العشق، بُعثت، ضجت الأشواق، هجرتي، عجلون، أنتِ ، هب النسيم (...) وعناوين أخرى.
