فلسطينية كانت ولم تزل ليست مجرد مجموعة قصصية كبتها ونشرتها في مطبوعات عربية ، خلال سنوات سابقة من حياتي بعيدا عن الوطن .. هى البساط السحري الذى استدعيته لينقلنى إلى الوطن وأنا معترب أبحث عن لقمة العيش ، فى طعام التهمه ولا أهضمه ، وشراب لا يروي لى عطش. فلسطين كانت ولم تزل تواصل مع الوطن بالأدب وتواصل مع الأدب بالوطن هى الوعي واللاوعى بالجدل الشخصي حول ماهية الكتابة وإجابة على سؤال جوهري أطرحه على نفسى وعلى غيري من الكتاب وهو : لماذا نكتب ؟ فأجد الإجابة فى الكتابة نفسها ، حيث يتساوى الأدب بالوطن ويصبح الوطن أدبا!! واستعير هنا بعض أبيات لشاعرنا المبدع / محمود درويش وهو يقول ساكتب جملة أغلى من الشهداء والقبل فلسطينية كانت ولم تزل فلسطينية العينين والوشم فلسطينينة الاسم : فلسطينية الأحلام والهم وتكفى هذه البلاغة لتحديد ماهية العلاقة بين الوطن والأدب . الذى تدور حوله مضمون مجموعتى القصصية "فلسطينية كانت ولم تزل" .
