وفي هذا الكتاب يتناول المؤلف الحديث عن دموع التائبين، وأجر هذه الدموع، ومنزلة الباكين عند الله – تعالي، كما يعرض لأشهر البكَّائين في التاريخ من أصحاب القلوب الرقيقة والعيون الدامعة..
كما يتحدث المؤلف عن التوبة ومعناها وشروطها، والآيات القرآنية، والأحاديث النبوية التي ورد فيها ذكر التوبة، ويختم الكتاب بإيراد بعض المواعظ والحكم الباكية، وبعض الأشعار التي جاءت على لسان بعض البكَّائين.
