أضع بين يدي القارئ الكريم (معجم الكلمات المصطلحية في لسان العرب: الإرادة، الإقتصاد، العسكرية، الفنون، الرياضة)، إكمالاً لسمِيَّيْه، الأول في الطب والعلوم والعمارة والجغرافية والجيولوجية والصناعة، والثاني في الحيوان والنبات، اللذين صدرا عن مجمع اللغة العربية بدمشق.
وتشكل هذه المعاجم الثلاثة سلسلة من معاجم موضوعات مستقاة من المعجم الأم (لسان العرب)، وربما أكون بذلك قد وفيت فيما أخذته على نفسي من أن أجرد معجم لسان العرب، وأصنف كلماته المصطلحية أي القابلة للإصطلاح كلاًّ في موضوعه أو علمه، ليسهل على الباحث من غير اللغويين العثور على طلبته من الألفاظ أو المفردات المعبرة عما يجول في ذهنه من معان أو دلالات، مما قد يصلح مقابلاً لمصطلحات علمية أجنبية أو لمفاهيم وأفكار بدأت تظهر وتشيع في الحياة المعاصرة، ولنقل بإختصار: إنه تصنيف (موضوعاتي) للسان العرب.
جاء هذا المعجم الذي يحتوي نحو ستة آلاف كلمة إصطلاحية في خمسة فصول، قُسِّم كل منها إلى أقسام، فكانت كما يلي: الفصل الأول: في الإدارة، وتضمَّن: 1-الشؤون الإدارية والقانونية، 2-القضاء، 3-الأحوال المدنية والشخصية، الفصل الثاني: في الإقتصاد، وتضمن: 1-المعاملات التجارية: بيع وشراء ورهن وتقسيط ونحوها، 2-العمل والعمالة، 3-المال والعُروض، 4-الإنفاق والإستهلاك، 5-الضرائب والرسوم والإتاوات، الفصل الثالث: في العسكرية، وتضمن: 1-السلاح، 2-الوحدات والرتب، 3-العمليات العسكرية، 4-مهارات القتال.
أما الفصل الرابع: في الفنون، وتضمن: 1-الغناء والموسيقى، 2-الزّينة، 3-الرقص والحركات التعبيرية، 4-الرسوم والنُّقوش، الفصل الخامس: في الرياضة، وتضمن: 1-الجَرْيُ والعَدْو، 2-الفروسية وركوب الخيل، 3-الصيد والرَّمي، 4-الحركات البدنية والتمارين، 5-المباراة والمبارزة.
