تعد قضايا البيئة ومشكلاتها من القضايا التى اصبحت تفرض نفسها على جميع المستويات والهيئات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية, ويرجع ذلك إلى ظهور مشكلات تهدد حياة الإنسان والكائنات الحية الأخري وتهدد كل مكونات البيئة الأخري بالاستنزاف والخراب البيئى, ولذا كان من الضرورى ان تتجه الأنظار إلى التعليم والتثقيف والتربية, ويأتى هذا الكتاب " التربية البيئية..تربية حتمية" ليعطى للقارئ فكرة وفهماً اوسع عن التربية البيئية واهدافها وتطور مفهومها وذلك فى الفصل الأول, ثم يتناول الفصل الثانى البيئة ومفهومها ومكوناتها عارضا لتطور علاقة الأنسان بالبيئة, ثم يتناول الفصل الثالث مفهوم التلوث وتوازن النظم البيئية ودورات المواد ومسببات اختلال التوازن البيئى.
ثم تتناول الفصول من الرابع الى السابع, تلوث الهواء والماء والتربة والغذاء ومخاطره على الأنسان والبيئة, وياتى الفصل التاسع والأخير ليتناول بعض القضايا البيئية المعاصرة وهى مشكلة ندرة المياه, والتصحر, واستنزاف الثروة الحيوانية والنباتية, وتآكل طبقة الأوزون.
ونرجو ان يفيد هذا الكتاب كل طالب علم وكل من يبحث عن بيئة نظيفة خالية من التلوث صالحة للحياة له وللأجيال القادمة من مصرنا الحبيبة, وكل من يعيش على الكرة الأرضية.
