دار في خلدي وأنا أضع الخطوط العريضة لأحد فصول كتابي (الموسوعة الميسرة في النحو والصرف والإعراب) وهو فصل المبنى على الحروف وأقسامها من حيث مكانها في الكلام، أن أجمع هذه الحروف وما إليها من الأسماء والضمائر وأسماء الأفعال والأصوات وبعض الأفعال والألفاظ التي يدور استعمالها على حالة إعرابية معينة وأجعلها في كتاب واحد تحت مسمى (المستقصى في معانى الأدوات النحوية وإعرابها).
والهدف من هذا المؤلف أن أجمع شتات تلك الأدوات المتناثرة في بطون أمهات كتب النحو لتنظم في سفر واحد مفصلاً القول فيها بغير إسهاب ولا تطويل، معلقاً على ما يحتاج التعليق، مبدياً الرأى في بعضها، متجنباً وجوه الخلاف، عاملاً برأى الجمهور من النحاة، آخذاً بما هو أقرب إلى المنطق، مدعوماً بالحجة، مستشهداً بفصيح القول نثراً وشعراً وهلى رأسها آيات القرآن الكريم، ثم أعربت جل شواهده.
