منذ سنوات يلح عليّ خاطر أن أتناول تلك المشكلة بالنظر في ضوء الإسلام، حين تأملت مجتمعنا الإسلامي المعاصر، وقد بدت فيه أعراض الإضطراب والقلق تجاه مشكلة الغريزة، فظهرت فيه دعوات خاطئة، وأعلنت فيه آراء شاذة، واختلفت الوجهات وتعددت النظرات، وأخذ كل فريق ينتصر لرأيه ويدعو إليه، بل يحاول أن يجعله نظاماً عملياً يصطبغ به المجتمع ويرضاه..
ويتبين للناظر في هذه المشكلة أن أدواء كثيرة في المجتمع تتعلق بها وتنشأ عنها، ولابد لعلاجها من علاج تلك المشكلة. فوضع المراة في المجتمع وقضية المساواة والإختلاط وعمل المرأة، والأزياء ووسائل الترويح والتوجيه، وكثير من الجرائم والإنحرافات وغير ذلك من القضايا، كلها تتعلق بمشكلة الغريزة من قريب أو بعيد، وحين نعالج أدواء الغريزة ونحول دون طغيانها وعدوانها، فن مشكلات كثيرة ستجد الحل الأمثل، وحينئذ يسعد المجتمع وتصان قواه ويزول ما به من شقاء ووهن.
