كان يجب أن نبحث في عنزة اليوم بقايا عنز بن وائل وما تداخل معها من بكر وتغلب وبقية ربيعة كلها بعد خيبر، ولن تجد ذلك إلا في بقايا تغلب أولاً في نسيج عنزة اليوم، لأن كليب والجرو والزير كانوا زعماؤها التقليديين، وبخاصة أنه قد تردد كثيراً عند الباحثين اليوم أن بقاياهم اليوم في ضنا بشر، وكان يجب البحث عن هذه المسميات والأحداث والهجرات في هذا الفرع الكبير، ثم نبحث في تاريخ القبيلة التي لها آثار في خيبر في القرن الخامس الهجري، فكان لزاماً علينا أن نقف عند العمارات، ونقف عند تاريخ قبيلة صغيرة في نسيجها وهم آل حسني – القبيلة الأقدم في ضنا بشر بقايا تغلب كلها - لأن لهم آثارا وروايات شفوية وهجرات معلنة في خيبر وديار ربيعة ونهر الخابور، وسألنا بعد ذلك هل في هذه القبيلة مسمى الجرو والزير، فقالوا: نعم...
ومن هنا، بدأ البحث التاريخي عن هذه المسميات في هذه البطون العريقة والحديث عن التداخلات والصراعات بينهم وبين الأشراف والقتادات على خيبر، الخزان الحيوي في الجزيرة العربية...
