يحكى هذا الكتاب عن محمد نجيب اول رئيس مصرى لجمهورية مصر العربية وكيف كانت شجاعته وبسالته وقوته ورجولته حتى ان صورته بدت كفارس من عصور لم يعد لها وجود الان وكيف كان منذ نشأته رجلا شجاعا محاربا وقد ورت هذه الصفات من والده ووالد والده حتى ثالث جد .. ثم يحكى كيف كانت وشجاعته فى سلك الجيش وصل اليه الضباط الاحرار الذين قاموا بالثوره وبحثوا طويلا عن قائد لهم ولم يجدوا امامهم الا محمد نجيب بشجاعته المعهودة عنهم فقادهم وقاد الثوره ولم يرضى لنفسه ان يقيم بمؤامرات ضده المؤامرات ولغز اسمه من كتب التاريخ ونفى فى بيته حتى انهار كل من تسببوا فى نفسه وعزله .
