لم تخرج هذه النصوص من جوف الحرب المكفهرة لا أنوي في هذه المقدمة أن أحيل النصوص إلى مؤثرات بحد ذاتها أضفت وحيدة إلى خلقها لكن إشارة أجدها مهمة لوصف الزمن الذي نمت في حدوده تبدو ضرورية للإضاءة على خلفية وقائع النصوص والانطلاقة التي آلت فيها بعد إلى دراما تجسد على الورق ثم على خشبة المسرح حيث قدمت بعضها فى مسارح بغداد وعمان وصنعاء.
كتبت هذه النصوص عبر فترات متباعدة منذ الثمانينات وكنت قد حسمت الآمر في داخل أن الفكرة المشتركة بينها انبثقت في ذهني يومًا ما على الحدود الإيرانية حيث كنت جنديًا إبان الحرب العراقية الإيرانية.
