للياسمين حكاية رواية تحكي قصة الطفل غيث الذي نشأ وحيدا، منعزلا، يتيم الأم يعيش تحت رعاية جديه. وجد في ياسمين الريح التي بعثت الروح في جسده، فصارت له كل شيء وحبه الأبدي منذ أن قدمت طفلة صغيرة لزيارة جديها و حتى أصبحت شابة. شاءت الظروف بان تعيش معه في نفس البيت ليزداد تعلقهما ببعضها بطريقة عجيبة و تزداد علاقتهما قوة. عمل غيث جاهدا حتى يتخرج و يحصل على وظيفة مرموقة ليتقدم لخطبتها من والدها الدبلوماسي الثري الذي حكم على هذا الحب بأن لا يستمر. فرق بينهما لتغادر ياسمين تدرس خارج البلد. غيث لم يستطع البقاء في مكان يحمل ذكرياتها. ليعود الى عزلته مقررا الابتعاد كي ينساها و ينشغل بعمله جنديا خارج البلاد مسخرا نفسه لخدمة الوطن. حتى جاء ذلك اليوم بعد خمس سنوات الذي قررت فيه ياسمين دخول حياته من جديد فهي غير قادرة على نسيانه. غيث الذي غضب من ظهورها مجددا غير قادرا على مواجهة مشاعره تجاهها و تصعيبها امر نسيانه لها يحاول ابعادها عنه. الا أنهما يقعان في حب بعضهما مجددا بقوة أكبر. يقرر غيث أن يتقدم لخطبتها للمرة الثانية لكن إصرار والدها على الرفض قطع الأمل في لم شملهما. حتى شاءت الأقدار بعد سنوات أن يصاب غيث أثناء تمرين عسكري و ينقل الى المشفى الذي تعمل فيه ياسمين طبيبة لتتعرف على زوجته التي أثبتت لها بأن غيث لازال يحبها.
