هذا بالضبط شأني مع التاريخ.. فكلما توغلت معه في طرقاته الكثيرة المتشابكة وجدته يستوقفني أمام بعض أبوابه ويستحثني أن أساعده في فتحها وإخراج من هم خلفها من أهم موضوعاته التي تعاني السجن والظلام.. وتلقائيًا كنت أجدني أنفذ ما أمرني به، ثم بعد ذلك أعطي فضولي حقه المشروع في معرفة ماهية تلك الموضوعات وما جعلها تظلم فتحبس عنا، ونظلم فنجهل بها...
"تاريخ في الظل" هو جزء من محصلة تلك الرحلة المثيرة التي يزداد خلالها يقيني كل يوم منها أن ما نجهل عن تاريخنا وعن أنفسنا أكثر بكثير مما نعرف... وأنا أدعوك لمشاركتي إخراج تلك الموضوعات التاريخية المثيرة حبيسة الظل من سجنها والتعرف عليها..
