إن هذا الكتاب هو قطعة حية من التاريخ يمتلئ بعبق الماضى ويمدنا بالكثير من الأخبار عن فترة تاريخية إذهرت فيها الدولة ووصلت مظاهر البذخ والترف إلى ما يحكى فى آلف ليلة وليلة.
