هذه الترجمة للاستبيان الذي عنونّاه بـ (To Karbala: Surveying Religious Shi a from iran and iraq)، هي الترجمة المرخّصة من الجهة المنفّذة المتمثلة بمعهد ماساتشوستس للتكنولجيا (MIT) في الولايات المتحدة. وقد منح المعهدُ حقوق الترجمة والطباعة لكرسي اليونسكو للحوار بجامعة الكوفة في جمهورية العراق طبقاً للعقد المبرم بيننا، وبذلك يكون كرسي اليونسكو في جامعة الكوفة هو الجهة المخوّلة الوحيدة لهذا الأمر، وقد أشرف على عملية الترجمة وإخراجها للطبع والنشر أحد خيرة النقّاد والمترجمين في العالم العربي المتمثل بأستاذ كرسي اليونسكو بهذه الجامعة الدكتور حسن ناظم. لقد أنجز كرسي اليونسكو ترجمة مطابقة للنص الإنجليزي، وباسمي وباسم كلّ العاملين على إنجاح هذا الاستبيان نقدّم لفريق الترجمة كلّ الشكر والتقدير. ونأمل بإنجاز هذا العمل تقديم الفائدة العلمية للأوساط الأكاديمية سواء أكانت في منطقة الشرق الأوسط أو في الجامعات الأوربية والأمريكية.
