أن الانسان اذا ما اخترع اختراعا ما او اخرج اعجوبه من مظاهر الابتكار والابداع التى تقفز بحياته من حين الى حين فانه تييه عجبا بنفسه وما فعل الا انه لابد ان يزداد ايمانه بهذه القدرة التى مكنته من كل هذا وخالق هذه القدرة التى منحها للانسان وان اقل قدر من العرفان بجميل الله هو باستغلال هذه القدرة لما فيه خير الدنيا كلها نقد دعا الله ان يجوب افاق الكون متاملا اياته فى كونه المشهود وفى هذا الكتاب يحاول المؤلف ان يوضح لنا كيف ان الله غنى عن العالمين فنحن فى تفعيل العقل والاستفاده من امكانياته لانضيف الى الله شيئا وانما نضيف الى حياة الانسان الكثير فالعقل ليس شيئا قابعا فى الدماغ وانما هو نمط معين من السلوك يتسم بالرشد وحسن ادراك العواقب والنظر المستقبلى والوعى التاريخى المستنير . ويضم هذا الكتاب مجموعة من المقالات التى قام بها المؤلف عن العقل التربوى وخطوط انتاج العقل التربوى والتجديد والجمود فى انتاج المعرفه التربوية وتجديد العقل الجامعى وغربة العقل العلمى فى التعليم .
