صدرت عن المؤسسة العربية للدراسات والنشر رواية جديدة للكاتب العماني خليل خميس بعنوان "أبراهام غوبي" تقع في 408 صفحات.
كُتب على الغلاف الأخير للرواية التي صمم غلافها ماجد بن مرهون المعمري: “كل شيء حوله يتحرك، لا مجال للتوقف، لا فرصة للدخول إلى الذات، لا وقت لفهم المشاعر وترجمتها، في داخله أكداس من البكاء وآلاف من العويل، وفي حنجرته الكثير من الصراخ والاحتجاج، كان وجهها ووجوه والديه وابنته مخزونا يستمدّ منه قوّته، واليوم وبعد هذه السنوات من الفراق بدأ الضباب يعْلق على تلك الوجوه فلا تظهر واضحة.. ما الذي حدث لي؟ ما هذه الذاكرة الخائنة؟ (يحدّث نفسه).. ظلّ في مدينة جورج تاون خمس سنوات ينتقل من عمل إلى آخر، وكان كل وقته واجما مذهولا مبتعدا عن الأضواء والضجيج".
يشار إلى أن خليل خميس أصدر في الرواية سابقاً: "السجينة 48″، "طيف عابر"، "لمعلّم"، "عاشق القمر"، "الفلامنجو يهاجر من تلمسان"، "لن أحمل البندقية"، “انتظار”، "بيعة الروح" و"ثلاثية الصمت".
