هذا كتاب ماتع يضم فتاوي شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية في حجم صغير وعلم غزير أسال الله أن ينفعنا به، ولقد سماه مؤلفه "بدر الدين أبي عبدالله بن علي الحنبلي البعلي" المتوفي سنة (777هـ) (مختصر الدرر المضية من الفتاوي) وكان صاحب لإذن في طباعته الطبعة الأولى هو صاحب الجلالة الملك عبد العزيز بن عبد الرحمن آل سعود رحمه الله وأسكنه فسيح جناته، ثم اختفى هذا الكتاب ولم يطبع بعد ذلك، وه نحن نقدم على تقديم الكتاب في ثوب جديد يتناسب مع هذا العصر الذي نعيش فيه والذي يعج بالفتن من كل جانب؛ فنقدم هذا العمل الماتع عسى أن ينتفع به الناس لما فيه من علم غزير.
